Abstract: This project analyzes how thermal comfort affects the disposition and perception of 11th and 12th-grade students at Liceo Taller San Miguel, influencing their learning processes. The research proposes bioclimatic architecture strategies to improve thermal comfort and thereby enhance the learning environment. A mixed-methods approach was used, including interviews with an architect, observations of student behavior, and surveys evaluating student perceptions of thermal comfort. Findings suggest that temperature variations impact student attention and activity, emphasizing the need for bioclimatic design strategies to improve educational environments.
| Methodology | Mixed-methods approach involving qualitative interviews with an architect, observations of student behavior in different temperature conditions, and quantitative surveys of student perceptions regarding thermal comfort. |
|---|---|
| Results | Increased temperature correlates with decreased student attention and activity, highlighting the need for improved thermal comfort in classrooms. Observations and surveys indicate that bioclimatic architecture could enhance student readiness and class effectiveness. |
| Conclusions | Implementing bioclimatic architecture strategies can positively influence student disposition and learning environments by improving thermal comfort. Further research and application of these strategies are recommended to optimize educational settings. |
